Moscone Center
The Moscone Center is San Francisco, California’s largest convention center and exhibition hall. It is only a mile from the Vagabond Inn San Francisco.
The Concourse
This 125,000 square foot contemporary glass and steel pavilion is highlighted with sand blasted wood, wall-to-wall carpeting and sparkling glass. Natural light pours through retractable skylights and clerestory windows. This facility, which can be divided into two independent halls, is a popular location for large corporate events and major conventions. The Concourse is located only 0.5 miles south east from our hotel.
Bill Graham Civic Auditorium
The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium is an indoor Arena located in the Civic Center neighborhood that can held 7,000 people. This venue used to host the NBA’s San Francisco Warriors from 1964 to 1967. Now it hosts events such as tradeshows, corporate meetings, concerts, and sporting events. It is located just 0.5 miles northwest from our property.
War Memorial Opera House
The War Memorial Opera House is located on the western side of Van Ness Avenue across from the back face of City Hall. It has been the home of the San Francisco Opera since opening night in 1932. It is only 0.5 miles from our hotel.
Louise M Davies Symphony Hall
Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall, the concert hall component of the San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center, was built in 1980 to give the San Francisco Symphony a permanent home. Previously, the Symphony had shared the neighboring War Memorial Opera House with the San Francisco Opera and San Francisco Ballet.
Great American Music Hall
The Great American Music Hall is a concert hall located on O’Farrell Street in the Tenderloin neighborhood on the same block as the Mitchell Brothers O’Farrell Theater (1.5 miles from our property). It is known for its decorative balconies, columns, and frescoes and for its history of unique entertainment.
